Smartlab Limited and the University of Dar es Salaam Sign partnership agreement to collaborate on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Tanzania

 

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania Smartlab Limited, and the University of Dar es Salaam, College of Information and Communication Technologies, are proud to announce the partnership agreement to collaborate on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Tanzania.

 

The partnership will enable Smartlab Limited, an innovation wing under Smart Africa Group, to offer its expertise and resources to support the University of Dar es Salaam in developing and collaborating on modern and comprehensive technology projects. The collaboration will also help bridge the gap between academia and industry, ensuring graduates have the necessary skills to succeed in the job market.

"We are excited to partner with the University of Dar es Salaam College of Information, and Communication Technologies  to foster and collaborate on innovation projects and programs  in Tanzania," said Mr. Larry Ayo, Director of Business Smartlab Limited. "This partnership will help equip the next generation of technology professionals with the skills they need to succeed in the industry, and we are proud to be a part of it."

 

The partnership agreement will facilitate joint research projects, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and the development of industry-driven innovation projects and programs that meet the needs of the current job market. The partnership will also provide students with access to real-world industry experience through internships, mentorship programs, and other practical learning opportunities.
